Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Company Secretary based in Chennai. The Company Secretary will oversee corporate compliance, governance standards, and statutory requirements within the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining statutory records, liaising with regulatory authorities, providing advisory support to the board, facilitating board meetings, and ensuring adherence to statutory filings. The role also involves advising on corporate policies and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Company Law, Corporate Governance, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including agreements, minutes, and resolutions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage regulatory filings and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency in using corporate compliance software and related tools is an advantage.
• Minimum qualification: Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), with relevant experience in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with regulations in the medical technology or healthcare industry is a plus.
