Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Facilitation & Student Engagement: Conduct engaging and interactive sessions on tobacco awareness, nutrition, and mental well-being. Encourage students to develop resilience and adopt healthy lifestyle practices. Foster a positive and trusting relationship with students to support their growth and confidence. Experiential & Community-Based Learning: Lead students in activities such as making their schools tobacco-free and sensitizing local vendors against selling tobacco products and junk food to children. Plan and execute community awareness initiatives with students on the ill effects of tobacco and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Encourage students to think beyond their limitations and nurture leadership skills. Collaboration & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between schools and the organization, maintaining strong relationships with school authorities. Ensure timely documentation, including session reports, student attendance, and activity progress. Conduct school-based surveys relevant to the program and compile data for evaluation.
Field Facilitation - Implementation of programs
Qualifications & Skills:
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Public Health, or a related field. Prior experience in facilitating sessions with adolescents, especially in government schools, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively. Ability to conduct interactive learning sessions and encourage student participation. Passion for health promotion, youth development, and community engagement. Basic reporting and documentation skills for tracking progress.
