(Driving General Health & Cancer Awareness Across Tamil Nadu)

Theni Cancer Institute is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to advancing general health awareness, cancer prevention, early detection, and accessible screening services.
We operate from our Chennai office in Anna Nagar, and conduct large-scale community outreach programs, school/college health sessions, CSR-driven screening camps, and rural health initiatives across multiple districts.

As part of our Swasth Bharat Initiative, we aim to educate and screen lakhs of people across Tamil Nadu and beyond—bringing quality healthcare awareness to every household.

Role Overview

We are looking for passionate, energetic individuals to join us as Community Health Impact Officers, who will work both on the field and from the office to deliver high-impact health education and screening support.

• Work Mode: 3 days Field Work + 3 days Office Work
• Timings: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai
• Salary: ₹15,000 + ₹3,000 Travel Allowance
• Requirement: Two-wheeler is mandatory

Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesField Responsibilities (3 days/week):

• Conduct general health and cancer awareness sessions in schools, colleges, corporate offices, communities, and rural areas.
• Support screening camps (breast, cervical, oral, general wellness) by coordinating registrations, guiding participants, and assisting the medical team.
• Engage with local stakeholders, CSR partners, NGOs, and community leaders to mobilize participants.
• Collect participant data and feedback in an organized manner.

Office Responsibilities (3 days/week):

• Assist in planning and executing upcoming awareness programs & screening events.
• Maintain daily reports, participant records, and follow-up documentation.
• Support outreach communications, scheduling, logistics, and social media updates.
• Coordinate with the program manager for project deadlines and partner interactions.

Who Should Apply

• Individuals passionate about public health, community service, healthcare awareness, or NGO activities.
• Strong communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
• Good presentation ability and willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby districts.
• Freshers welcome; training will be provided.
