Overview

Macmillan Education India is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Trainer to deliver a state-wide skilling initiative focused on empowering unemployed youth in Tamil Nadu with job readiness and English communication skills. The training will be aimed at enhancing the participants' proficiency in English and preparing them for the workforce. The trainer will be responsible for conducting engaging and effective training sessions, ensuring participants acquire the necessary skills to succeed in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery:

• Deliver English language training to college students, focusing oncommunication skills.
• Use teaching materials provided, ensuring effective and engaging learning experiences.

• Student Progress Monitoring:

• Conduct/ support in pre- and post-assessments to evaluate students English language proficiency and track progress.
• Provide regular feedback to students on their language skills, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and performance.

• Classroom Engagement & Development:

• Foster a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging students to actively participate and practice English in real-world scenarios.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students, considering their proficiency levels and learning styles.

• Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work closely with the Project Manager, to share updates on student progress and resolve any challenges.
• Document and submit regular reports on training activities, including student progress, attendance, and training effectiveness.

• Trainer Professional Development:

• Attend and actively participate in periodic workshopsto improve teaching methodologies, and industry trends.
• Stay up to date with current teaching trends toensure best practices in training delivery.

Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching English, especially in a job readiness or vocational training setting.
• Experience working with youth or marginalized groups in skill development or language training programs is preferred.
