Communications Specialist

As a Communications Specialist at Ecolab supporting the Global Business Solutions (GBS+) team, your role involves driving internal communication initiatives to align with the company's values and culture. You will collaborate with local business and HR stakeholders to understand communication needs and execute employee engagement campaigns, events, and programs using various digital engagement tools. Your responsibilities also include organizing town halls, leadership talks, and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal platforms. Additionally, you will support the global GBS+ communications team by contributing to global campaigns and content development. Key Responsibilities: - Drive local internal communication initiatives in alignment with company values and culture - Collaborate with local stakeholders to fulfill communication needs - Plan and execute employee engagement campaigns, events, and programs using various digital tools - Organize town halls, leadership talks, and other key employee communication touchpoints - Support the global GBS+ communications team with global campaigns and content development - Ensure consistent messaging and branding across internal platforms - Collect feedback from employees to improve communication efforts continuously Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field - 5+ years of professional experience in communications - Global mindset or experience working in a global team - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills - Proficiency in developing compelling communication strategies with measurable goals - Versatile writer with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels - Fluent in internal communications aspects including script writing, strategy, and change management communications planning - Strong business acumen and interest in complex topics communication - Critical listening skills and the ability to translate ideas into actionable content - Experience in organizing events and employee engagement activities is a plus - Fluent in English Ecolab is a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services, dedicated to helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy, and healthy environments.
