Senior Manager – Commodity Back Office Operations

Key Responsibilities

Commodity Trade Processing

• Manage end-to-end commodity trade processing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure proper validation, reconciliation, and settlement of trades.
  

Physical Delivery Operations

• Handle detailed processes related to commodities physical delivery.
• Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant delivery flow.
  

Exchange Liaison

• Act as the point of contact with Exchanges for back-office file updates and related communication.
• Ensure timely retrieval, validation, and implementation of exchange file
  

Regulatory Compliance

• Track regulatory updates affecting back-office operations.
• Implement required changes in processes, documentation, and systems.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance adherence at all times.
  

Inter-Department Coordination

• Manage dependencies and escalations if operational gaps arise.
  

Night Shift Operations

• Ensure operational continuity during night shift.
• Maintain readiness for time-sensitive tasks and urgent coordination.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Commodity Back Office Operations.
• Strong understanding of commodity trade processing and physical delivery cycles.
• Experience interacting with Exchanges (MCX, NCDEX, etc.).
• Ability to track and implement regulatory / operational changes.
• Strong coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability.
• Comfortable working in night shift (10 PM – 6 AM).
