Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure that the project safety regulations are applied in his area of responsibility in order to maintain an accident-free environment.
Support the Site Construction Manager for the update of the pre-commissioning schedule driving completion priorities.
Ensure that the proper resources (personnel, equipment, consumables, temporary facilities) are mobilized and deployed for the timely execution of all pre-commissioning activities
Monitoring and testing equipment and systems to ensure that they meet the required performance standards
Identify and Resolve technical issues that may arise during the commissioning process
Manage the pre-commissioning activities executed in self-performance and to supervise the activities executed by sub-contractors.
Assist the Subcontracting Team for the preparation of specialized subcontracts.
Coordinate with the Field Engineering Team for the resolution of all technical issues raised in the field.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

5+ yrs. of experience in the field of commissioning
Must have superior communication skills, both written and oral.
Must have knowledge on standards like API, ASME & NFPA
Strong attention to detail
Capable of working in a team, prioritizing, multi-tasking and organizing.
Flexible and adaptable to ever changing priorities.
Ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to tackle high pressure situations
Should have a great technical expertise
