Job Title: Commissioning Engineer Division: C&H-Heating Projects Department: Commissioning Qualification: B.E/B. Tech Mechanical/Electrical, Diploma in Engineering Experience: 5-10 Years No of Vacancies: 3 Location: west region and south region Reporting To: Regional Commissioning Manager Roles and Responsibilities: Knowledge of AFBC boiler pre commissioning, start-up and operation of boilers, heaters & burners Knowlege and experience of commissioning of Bi-Drum boiler and Reciprocating Boiler. Understand the commissioning plan Plan and schedule the activities on site to ensure on time commissioning of boilers and auxiliaries as per project schedule Carry out the process in proper sequence Solve problems through the Analysis-Synthesis approach, Close issues on time Prepare SOP for transferring operating knowledge to the customer Provide feedback to the engineering about the issues encountered during commissioning Knowledge of rotary equipment (fans & pumps) Prepare Project Feedback report after site handover to customer Critical Competencies for the Job: Internal Customer Interfacing : Process engineering, Projects & Marketing : kick off meeting before commissioning, to understand the job on hand, the design and detailed specifications, and provide inputs on the commissioning aspect of the job. Engineering, Field engineering, Projects : continuous interaction all through the commissioning activity, making progress report and communicate the inputs from the customer, get the necessary support from the departments to ensure timely problem solving, and delivery of the job. Engineering : to provide feedback for product/ process improvements. External Customer Interfacing skills. Report writing and MIS. Customer Training
