Job Title: Commis (All Levels – I, II, III)

Location: Chemmanur International Holidays & Resort Ltd., Thekkady
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹14,000 (In-hand)

Job Summary:

Chemmanur International Holidays & Resort Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Commis (I/II/III) to join our culinary team at our Thekkady location. The ideal candidates will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen hygiene, and ensure high-quality standards in food service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs in food preparation as per standard recipes.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Follow proper food storage, rotation, and safety protocols.
• Support senior kitchen staff in mise en place and daily operations.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
• Learn and adhere to all company standards and procedures.
• Manage basic cooking tasks independently (for Commis I & II).
• Assist in receiving and stocking kitchen supplies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 10th standard pass; Hotel Management diploma/certification preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in a kitchen/culinary role (depending on Commis level).
• Basic knowledge of Indian and continental cuisines preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends.
