Commis Chef (I, II & III)

You will be joining The Salad House, a fast-growing food brand that prioritizes health-first meals. As a Commis Chef, your role will involve the following responsibilities based on the different levels: Commis I: - Take ownership of your station and independently prepare dishes - Ensure consistency in food taste and assist in training junior staff members - Contribute to creating new recipes and manage pre-preparation tasks (mise-en-place) Commis II: - Assist in preparing and assembling salads, bowls, and smoothies - Follow recipes meticulously, maintain correct portion sizes, and uphold cleanliness standards - Support Commis I and the Chef de Partie during busy periods Commis III: - Engage in basic prep work such as vegetable chopping, ingredient sorting, and cleaning - Familiarize yourself with kitchen operations and contribute to maintaining cleanliness - Provide assistance to the team during peak business hours You are required to possess the following qualifications based on the respective levels: - Commis I: Minimum 2-3 years of kitchen experience - Commis II: Minimum 1-2 years of experience - Commis III: Freshers or a minimum of 6 months of kitchen experience - Essential traits include being a team player, quick learner, and adherence to hygiene standards - An interest in healthy cooking and wellness is considered advantageous Joining our team offers the opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding kitchen that emphasizes healthy and clean eating.
