As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the senior chefs in the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and upholding our standards of food safety and hygiene. * Key Responsibilities: * - Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chefs. - Follow recipes and presentation specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. - Handle food storage and ensure proper labeling and rotation of ingredients, minimizing waste. - Support inventory management by reporting stock levels and assisting in ordering supplies when necessary. - Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup, service, and cleanup. - Work collaboratively within the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and effective communication. - Stay current with culinary trends and techniques to improve skills and contribute to menu development. *Qualifications: * - Relevant culinary qualifications preferred. - Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage but not mandatory; passion for cooking is essential. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. - Good knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards. - Strong communication and team-working skills. - Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. *What We Offer: * - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Opportunities for career growth and professional development. - A supportive and dynamic work environment.
