Commis Chef - Continental

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of continental food items as per organizational standards

* Carry out mise en place duties prior to service and ensure readiness of assigned kitchen sections

* Follow standardized recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation specifications

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and storage areas at all times

* Comply with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies, including HACCP guidelines

* Assist in proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation of food items using FIFO procedures

* Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to senior kitchen staff

* Support senior chefs during peak operational periods

* Minimize food wastage and adhere to cost control measures

* Participate in training programs and skill development initiatives as assigned

Working Conditions

* Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
