Job Description

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes as per standard recipes.
  • Assist Chef de Partie in managing daily operations.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is ready before service.
  • Follow portion control and minimize wastage.

Quality & Standards

  • Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
  • Follow hotel/restaurant recipes and plating guidelines.
  • Check freshness of ingredients before use.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Ensure cleanliness of workstation and equipment.
  • Follow HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Practice safe handling of kitchen tools and equipment.

Teamwork & Coordination

  • Work closely with seniors and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
  • Assist in training new kitchen helpers or Commis II/III.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Store ingredients properly to avoid spoilage.
  • Report shortages, breakages, or equipment malfunctions to seniors.
  • Use supplies efficiently to control food cost.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commi II/III or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene & safety standards.
  • Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
