- Commi 1 & 2 Pastry & Bakery

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts as per standard recipes.
  • Assist in daily pastry and bakery production under senior chefs’ guidance.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI).
  • Follow kitchen SOPs, FIFO, proper storage, and labeling procedures.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or spoilage.
  • Minimize wastage through proper portion control and handling.
  • Support basic training of junior staff when required.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or senior team members.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management preferred.
  • 0–1–2 years of experience in a branded restaurant or hotel.
  • Innovative mindset with basic knowledge of menu planning and menu costing. Ability to work under pressure and for long hours in a kitchen environmen
