Key Responsibilities: - Food Preparation: Chop, slice, peel, and prepare ingredients following recipe instructions. - Cooking Assistance: Assist senior chefs with tasks such as sauting, boiling, steaming, and baking. - Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Inventory Management: Assist with stock management, ensure proper storage of food items, and discard expired products. - Delivery Handling: Assist with the acceptance and storage of deliveries. - Learning and Development: Learn basic culinary techniques and follow instructions from senior chefs. - Other Duties: Assist with kitchen tasks like plating, temperature checks, and inventory audits. - Communication: Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and senior chefs. Qualifications Required: - Basic culinary skills (e.g., knife handling, cooking techniques). - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to follow instructions and work under guidance. - Physical stamina and strength. - Ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication skills. - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
