Job Title: Service Associate Department: Operations Location: PVR INOX Cinemas Reports To: Duty Manager / Operations Manager** Job Summary The Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth cinema operations. The role involves assisting customers with ticket booking, ticket checking, food and beverage service, auditorium management, and maintaining overall cleanliness and hygiene standards. The position requires a customer‐centric attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service Greet guests warmly and assist them with queries related to show timings, seat availability, and cinema facilities. Ensure a courteous, professional, and seamless service experience for all guests. 2. Ticketing Operations Assist customers with ticket booking at the box office or self-service kiosks. Handle cash/card transactions accurately and issue tickets/receipts as required. Guide guests on seat selection, show timings, and ongoing offers. 3. Ticket Checking & Access Control Check tickets at entry points and ensure correct auditorium allocation. Manage queues efficiently and maintain crowd control during peak hours. Address guest concerns related to ticket discrepancies. 4. Food & Beverage Service Take and process F&B orders at concession counters. Serve food and beverages quickly and hygienically. Maintain stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of items. Upsell combos and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue. 5. Auditorium Management Ensure auditoriums are clean and ready before every show. Assist in seating guests and resolving in-hall disturbances politely. Monitor cinema ambience, screen conditions, and sound clarity; report issues promptly. 6. Cleaning & Housekeeping Maintain cleanliness across the lobby, foyer, restrooms, and seating areas. Support turnaround cleaning between shows to ensure high hygiene standards. 7. Safety & Compliance Follow all SOPs related to safety, security, and emergency procedures. Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or equipment malfunction. 8. Team Coordination Coordinate with projection, security, and food service teams for smooth operations. Participate in daily briefings and training sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 10th/12th pass; graduation is an added advantage. Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or cinema operations preferred. Good communication skills (English/Hindi). Positive attitude, grooming standards, and customer-oriented approach. Ability to multitask and work in rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
