Commercial Operations Assistant

As a member of the Commercial department, you will be responsible for supporting in the analysis of renewals and large strategic contracts. Your role will involve completing commercial analysts requests within agreed timescales, ensuring accurate reconciliation between billing, cancellations, and commercial deal analysis, supporting procurement in the correct imputation of costs, managing communication with key stakeholders, developing Commercial Deal Analysis, and keeping internal databases updated as needed. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring the timely completion of commercial analysts requests and escalating when necessary. - Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile billing, cancellations, and commercial deal analysis. - Assisting procurement and the wider business in ensuring the accurate imputation of costs for deal analysis. - Effectively communicating with front-end teams and key stakeholders to provide updates. - Developing Commercial Deal Analysis based on templates, extracting main deal KPIs, and shaping deals for business objectives. - Updating internal databases as required. Qualifications Required: - Highly numerate with strong reporting and analytical skills. - Proficient in Advanced Excel for analysis, report manipulation, and result presentation. - Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize customer service. - Flexible approach to work and able to perform well under pressure. - Positive and professional attitude. In addition, if applicable, desirable knowledge and experience may include: - Experience in commercial analysis and contracts within the IT / Telecoms sector. - Understanding of the IT / Telecoms market and related technologies.
