Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for short-term and long-term business objectives.
Analyze business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold.
Manage budgets, expenses, pricing, and commercial arrangements to ensure financial efficiency.
Take a lead role in advising on pricing for commercial contracts.
Drive operational efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and are delivered within budget.
Partner with business managers to drive overall financial performance.
Support the Sales and Marketing departments by conducting detailed analysis of commercial opportunities.
Prepare financial models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities.
Supervise staff, often including Management or Divisional Accountants, and review their work for accuracy.
Take a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise during operations.
