New Travel Liines India Private Limited is looking for a dynamic and visionary Commercial Business Development Officer (Sales) to lead our sales efforts and significantly expand our presence in the car rental market. We're seeking a strategic leader with a strong business administration background who can identify new opportunities, build lasting client relationships and inspire a high-performing sales team. This position will be based out of Chennai. As our Commercial Business Development Officer (Sales), you'll be instrumental in shaping our revenue growth and market footprint. You'll lead from the front, developing and executing sales strategies that secure key partnerships and drive our car rental business forward. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement impactful B2B sales strategies to boost our market share and achieve ambitious revenue targets within the car rental industry. - Identify, cultivate, and nurture high-value partnerships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other businesses needing car rental solutions. - Lead, mentor, and motivate a top-tier sales team, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed their sales goals. - Make periodic calls to key stakeholders of companies with potential business opportunities. - Prepare business presentations and proposals and coordinate with Client Leadership for meetings and deal negotiations. - Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to pinpoint new business opportunities and refine our sales approaches. - Collaborate seamlessly with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer satisfaction. - Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior management. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate valuable leads. Qualifications: - UG/PG degree in Business Administration or a related field. - 8-10 years of progressive B2B sales experience is mandatory, ideally within the Car rental, Hospitality, Hotel, or a similar service-oriented industry. - A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving substantial revenue growth. - Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated experience in building, managing, and inspiring high-performing sales teams. - Superior negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. - A deep understanding of the sales cycle and best practices in business development. - A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
