Job Description

Role Overview: As a commercial asset management professional at candi, you will play a crucial role in leading the solar revolution in India. Your creativity, innovation, and customer-centric mindset will be essential in maintaining and managing various customer solar energy offtaker contracts. Your responsibilities will include assessing commercial risks, onboarding new customers, managing customer relationships, supporting invoicing, handling customer complaints, and contributing to the improvement of in-house management tools within the Commercial Asset Management team. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain repository and manage different types of customer solar energy offtaker contracts with a customer centricity mindset - Assess commercial risks during the contract life cycle - Onboard new customers after the commercial operation kick off of the solar assets - Own the customer relationship during the contract term - Support invoicing by providing contractual tariffs and checking on joint meter readings and unit amounts form technical team - Engage with customers for contract amendments/extensions and deemed generation claims - Log and track customer complaints and coordinate cross-functionally for resolution - Deliver customer reporting and other customer success activities - Manage insurance for operational assets and coordinate claim issuance and settlements - Contribute to the improvement of in-house management tools within the Commercial Asset Management team Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in contract and customer relationship management in India, preferably focusing on corporate customers as energy consumers - Excellent understanding of contractual structures and ability to identify key risk issues - Familiarity with Electricity board regulations and invoicing methodologies - Proficiency in Excel and willingness to work with other data analysis programs - Analytical and quantitative mindset with experience in data analysis using digital tools - Excellent customer communication skills in English - Experience in customer negotiation and handling high-pressure situations is a plus - Competency in financial modeling, including sensitivity analysis, is a plus Additional Details: candi is a dedicated solar partner for businesses in Asia and Africa, aiming to reduce carbon emissions, create jobs, increase energy access, and save money for businesses in emerging markets.
