Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Commercetools-based commerce solutions.
Implement and integrate Zuora for billing, invoicing, and subscription management workflows.
Build and manage APIs and middleware integrations between Commercetools, Zuora, and other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, OMS).
Work with microservices and event-driven architectures to enable headless commerce setups.
Customize and extend Commercetools functionalities using JavaScript, Node.js, or Java.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams for seamless integration and data flow.
Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration or performance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2 to 4 years of experience in Commercetools development .
Hands-on experience integrating Zuora Billing and Subscription Management .
Strong understanding of API-driven architecture (REST/GraphQL).
Experience with JavaScript , Node.js , or Java for backend/custom service development.
Familiarity with JSON , webhooks , and event-based workflows .
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of e-commerce concepts product, pricing, subscription, and order workflows.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have Skills

Experience with other commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps practices.
