Command and Control Centre Expert

Position Title:

Role Overview

The Command & Control Centre (CCC) Expert will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and ensuring seamless operations of the Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) under Smart and Safe City projects. The expert will oversee real-time system monitoring, coordination with various teams, incident management, analytics operations, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and SLAs.

This role demands a strong understanding of ICT systems, surveillance technologies, traffic management systems, and city-level integrated operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. CCC Operations Management

• Monitor real-time operations of ICCC including CCTV, ANPR, VMS, ATCS/ITMS, GPS tracking, and Communication Systems.
  
• Supervise control room operations, shift planning, and operator management.
  
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, incident response protocols, and escalation matrix.
  

2. Incident Monitoring & Response

• Track and respond to incidents, alerts, and system abnormalities.
  
• Coordinate with field teams, police departments, emergency services, and municipal teams.
  
• Document incidents and ensure timely closure in the system.
  

3. System Monitoring & Performance Tracking

• Monitor network health, system uptime, video feeds, and sensor data.
  
• Identify system issues, coordinate with OEMs/Vendors for resolution, and ensure minimum downtime.
  
• Validate system analytics, dashboards, and real-time data accuracy.
  

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations, incidents, SLA performance, and analytics.
  
• Maintain logs, operator attendance, incident reports, equipment health, and operational records.
  
• Assist in preparing MIS reports for municipal corporations and project consultants.
  

5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Liaison with city authorities, police officials, emergency teams, and municipal officers.
  
• Work closely with project teams, field engineers, IT network teams, and OEM support teams.
  
• Coordinate training sessions for operators and control room staff.
  

6. Compliance & Audit Readiness

• Ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and project guidelines.
  
• Support in internal/external audits, inspections, and performance evaluations.
  
• Ensure safety, security, and confidentiality of ICCC operations.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
  
• Certification in ITIL, Networking, or Security Operations (preferred).
  

Experience

• 8 years of experience in Smart City, Safe City, ITMS, ATCS, or large-scale surveillance/command center operations.
  
• Hands-on experience in control room operations and incident management.
  

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of:
  
• CCTV, ANPR, VMS, PTZ and fixed cameras
  
• Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITMS/ATCS)
  
• Networking fundamentals, servers, storage, and video management systems
  
• GIS dashboards, emergency response systems, sensors, IoT devices
  
• Strong understanding of video monitoring, analytics, and system integrations.
