As a Collections Specialist, your role will involve driving the collection process of receivables across multiple sources to reduce the total outstanding and associated average number of days. Your primary objective is to ensure the client partnership remains intact throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: - Keep track of the portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area, controlling delinquency bucket-wise and DPD wise, with a focus on non-starters. - Provide efficient customer service for collection issues, including processing customer refunds, account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and credit memo processing. - Maintain updated customer files, recording all contact dates and times, as well as information provided to customers about their debts. - Trace defaulters and assets in coordination with the agency's tracing team, recommending appropriate actions. - Identify defaulting accounts, investigate reasons for default, and strive to uphold a healthy relationship with customers. - Engage sales and senior management as needed to expedite the collection process, supporting the collection manager in asset repossession and legal intervention when necessary. - Ensure compliance with all Audit/regulatory bodies, as well as company policies and procedures.
