As a Collection Specialist, your role involves driving the collection process of receivables from multiple sources to reduce the total outstanding and average number of days. Your key objective is to maintain client partnerships while effectively managing debt collection. Your major deliverables include: - Monitoring specific portfolio buckets within your assigned area to control delinquency, focusing on both bucket-wise and Days Past Due (DPD) analysis, and addressing non-starters promptly. - Providing efficient customer service by addressing collection issues, processing refunds, managing account adjustments, writing off small balances, reconciling customer accounts, and processing credit memos as necessary. - Updating customer files with contact dates, interactions, and debt-related information to ensure accurate records of communication. - Collaborating with the tracing team to locate defaulters and assets, recommending appropriate action plans to resolve outstanding debts. - Investigating reasons for defaulting accounts while prioritizing customer relationship management. - Coordinating with sales and senior management as needed to expedite the collection process, supporting the collection manager in asset repossession and legal actions when necessary. - Ensuring compliance with all Audit and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures. Your educational qualification should be a Graduate degree.,
