Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective collection strategies and procedures to minimize bad debts and reduce delinquency rates.
Team Management and Leadership:
Oversee, train, and mentor a team of collections agents (including field agents) to ensure collection goals and performance metrics are met.
Account Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor loan accounts and analyze data to identify delinquency trends, assess credit risks, and forecast cash flow needs.
Direct Customer Interaction & Negotiation:
Handle escalated collections issues and negotiate payment arrangements or settlements with borrowers, considering their financial situation while balancing company goals.
Compliance and Legal Adherence:
Ensure all collection activities adhere strictly to internal policies and relevant local, state, and federal debt collection laws and regulations (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) to avoid legal risks.
Secured Asset Management:
For secured loans (like home or auto loans), the manager coordinates with the legal teams to initiate legal proceedings, such as foreclosure or repossession, when debts cannot be settled through other means
