Job Description

Technical Skills: Programming: COBOL development and debugging. Platforms: Unisys MCP. Data Management: Unisys ISAM, file sorting. Scripting: Writing and executing Unisys WFL scripts. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving system issues efficiently. Development Methodologies: Experience with various software development approaches. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and debug COBOL programs. Perform complex code reviews and troubleshooting for production incidents. Maintain and document program changes. Utilize Unisys MCP, ISAM, sorting techniques, and WFL scripting. Write reusable code and implement deployment automation. Develop and execute functional test scenarios and scripts. Work on multiple phases of major applications with guidance. Use Unisys commands for file viewing and management. Requirements: Experience: 8+ years Strong understanding of Unisys MCP environment. Accredited degree or relevant technical training preferred. Initial night shifts required for the first 4-5 months (log-off time: 4:30 AM IST), with the flexibility to work from home during this period. A night shift allowance will be provided as per company policy. May require a client interview as part of the selection process.
