Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Programming & Setup

Prepare and edit CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Set up machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.
Conduct trial runs and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.

Machine Operation & Production

Operate CNC machines efficiently, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure production of components meets quality and dimensional standards.

Quality Control & Documentation

Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain records of machine settings, programs, and production data.
Report any deviations, errors, or machine malfunctions to the supervisor.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

Suggest improvements in CNC programming and machining processes.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize production methods.
Assist in training junior operators or apprentices as needed.

Safety & Compliance

Adhere to workplace safety guidelines, machine handling protocols, and quality standards.
Ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements at all times.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
37 years of experience as a CNC Setter/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in CNC programming software (G-code, CAD/CAM, etc.).
Strong understanding of machine tools, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
Knowledge of quality standards, measurement instruments, and inspection techniques.
