Job Description

Role Summary: The CNC Setter is responsible for setting up CNC machines, preparing tooling, fixtures, and programs for production, ensuring components are machined to specified dimensions and quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of CNC operations, tooling, offsets, and machine parameters. Responsibilities: Set up CNC Turning/Milling machines (Fanuc/Mazak/Siemens). Install and adjust tools, fixtures, and work offsets. Load programs, run first-piece, and ensure dimensional accuracy. Conduct inspections using vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc. Troubleshoot machining issues and support operators during production. Maintain setup sheets, tool records, and follow safety/5S practices. Requirements: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Machinist trade. Strong knowledge of CNC setup, tooling, offsets, and drawings. Ability to handle first-piece approval and machine settings independently. 1-5 Years of experience as a CNC setter.
