About the Role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating nesting software to create optimized layouts for sheet metal cutting, minimising material waste while meeting production schedules. Key Responsibilities: • Develop nesting programs/layouts using sheet metal nesting software (eg. Trumpf, Trumpf-boost) • Optimize use of sheet metal materials to reduce scrap. • Coordinate with CNC operators and production planners for smooth workflow. • Maintain accurate records and reports related to nesting activities. • Troubleshoot basic software and production issues. • Adhere to safety and quality standards. Educational Qualifications: • ITI in Computer Application and Programming Assistant(COPA), OR • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Technology, OR • Certification/Diploma in CNC Programming, Sheet Metal Work, or Tool & Die Making, OR • Diploma or certification in Industrial Automation, CAD/CAM Technology, or Mechanical Drafting. • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software tools. Desired Skills and Experience: • Experience with sheet metal nesting software is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Opportunity for skill development and career growth. • Supportive and innovative work environment.
