Cloud Transformation Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?

How will you make an impact?

• Perform operational duties including reviewing deployments to ensure the installation was successful
• Identify and resolve issues not handled by the automation
• Feedback issues with automation back to Devops and then test fixes
• Maintain Deployment documentation, e.g. incident tracking and run books. 
• Perform upgrades and ensure the application is fully functional afterwards
• Work with Devops on any issues with upgrade automation
• As new versions/features are released test new automation and ensure all is working properly
• Work with Appops/Support teams after upgrades to identify if any issues were related to the upgrade process and correct them.
• Work scheduled events that maybe during weekends or during non-prime shift hours

Have you got what it takes?

• 2 to 4 years’ experience in Application /production support experience in with Cloud-Based hosting administration, management and performance tuning under high availability SLA environment
• Experience with AWS is a bonus.
• Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, Tomcat, SSH and basic scripting skills
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL
• Experience with and understanding of complex process and data flow
• Ability to effectively and proactively communicate (both written and verbal) to various Product groups and clients on a daily basis.
• Experience with application debugging, performance, scalability
• Familiarity with standard application security compliance best practices
• Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes
• Experience working  successfully independently and with other team members as well as developers
• Ability to multi-task as required and provide rapid support in production

• Must be able to provide on-call off-hour support and work during non-prime shift hour
