Cloud Site Reliability Engineer

As a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer at ZS, you will work with a team of operations engineers and software developers to analyze, maintain, and nurture Cloud solutions/products to support the company's clientele. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing the current state, designing appropriate solutions, and implementing them with the team - Coordinating emergency responses, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to prevent re-occurrences - Working with the team to increase MTBF and lower MTTR for the environment - Reviewing the entire application stack and executing initiatives to reduce failures, defects, and issues with the overall performance Your tasks will involve: - Identifying and implementing more efficient system procedures - Maintaining environment monitoring systems for visibility into deployed products/solutions - Performing root cause analysis on infrastructure alerts and resolving them with teams - Maintaining performance analysis tools and resolving adverse changes - Researching industry trends and promoting adoption of best-in-class tools - Influencing product architecture/design to advance quality, performance, or scalability - Designing, developing, and executing automated tests for validation - Troubleshooting issues across the entire stack Qualifications required for this role include: - 1+ years experience as a Site Reliability Engineer - 1+ years experience with AWS technologies and at least one AWS certification (Solution Architect / DevOps Engineer) - Hands-on experience with AWS services like CodeBuild, Config, Systems Manager, etc. - Full-stack IT experience with various technologies - Expertise in at least one scripting language, preferably Python - Understanding of networking concepts, RDBMS, Cloud Database engines, etc. - Exposure to big data technologies and fault-tolerant system design - Familiarity with Splunk data analysis, Dynatrace APM, or similar tools - A Bachelors degree in a related technical field - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills - Fluency in English - Initiative, flexibility, and a client-first mentality ZS offers a comprehensive total rewards package and a flexible working culture.
