Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across our cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, security best practices, and regulatory compliance This role will be critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud infrastructure and services, Key Responsibilities Design and implement robust cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, network security, and data protection controls, Collaborate with DevOps, cloud engineering, and application teams to integrate security into cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps), Configure and manage cloud-native security tools and services (eg, AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center), Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and cloud security posture management, Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (eg, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks), Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud-related security incidents and vulnerabilities, Conduct regular cloud security reviews, audits, and penetration testing, Automate security operations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, Evaluate and implement third-party security solutions for enhanced protection and visibility, Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to the overall security awareness across teams, Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, 7+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 3+ years in cloud security engineering, Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including their native security tools and services, Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, network security, and encryption, Familiarity with security automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Experience with SIEMs, CSPM tools, and security incident response in cloud environments, Deep knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements (eg, NIST, ISO, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA), Preferred Qualifications Relevant cloud or security certifications, such as: AWS Certified Security Specialty Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer CISSP, CISM, or CCSP Experience with container security (eg, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AKS), Exposure to Zero Trust Architecture and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) concepts, Experience working in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, etc,), Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, Proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership, Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams, Bottom of Form
