Overview: - The Cloud Sales Evangelist plays a critical role in driving the adoption of cloud solutions and services, as well as promoting the organization's cloud offerings. - They are responsible for shaping the perception and positioning of the company's cloud products in the market and influencing decision-makers. - Their contribution directly impacts the organization's revenue and market share in the cloud services industry. Key responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and adoption of cloud solutions. - Educate and inform potential customers about the advantages of using cloud services. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to promote cloud solutions. - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling messaging and materials for cloud offerings. - Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for differentiation. - Participate in industry events, seminars, and conferences to represent the organization's cloud products. - Understand customer needs and provide feedback to the product development team for continuous improvement. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure successful cloud service implementation. - Support the sales team in understanding technical aspects and benefits of cloud offerings. - Track and report sales metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to management. - Provide training and guidance to internal teams on selling and positioning cloud solutions. - Contribute to the development of sales forecasts and budget planning for cloud services. - Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets. - Represent the organization as a thought leader and expert in cloud technologies. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience in cloud technology sales or business development. - Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. - Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. - In-depth knowledge of the cloud market, industry trends, and competitive landscape. - Proficiency in using CRM and sales tracking tools to manage leads and opportunities. - Strategic thinking and analytical skills for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities. - Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for driving innovation and growth in the cloud industry. - Experience in negotiating and closing enterprise-level deals in the technology sector. - Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and industry events. - Certifications in cloud technologies and sales (e.g., AWS Certified, Google Cloud Certified) are a plus. - Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - High level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
