Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modern data pipelines using

  Azure Synapse Analytics

  ,

  Data Factory

  , and other Azure services.
• Architect and implement

  data lake

  and

  data warehouse

  solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Develop efficient data ingestion processes for

  batch

  and

  real-time streaming

  scenarios.
• Create dynamic and insightful

  Power BI dashboards

  for both internal users and external clients.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement

  CI/CD pipelines

  for data workflows and BI deployments.
• Integrate data from various sources including operational databases, APIs, and external providers.
• Participate in solution architecture reviews and provide input on Azure data best practices.
• Ensure all data solutions meet

  security

  ,

  compliance

  , and

  governance

  standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science

  ,

  Information Systems

  , or a related field.

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience in developing and managing

  cloud-based data solutions

  , with a strong focus on

  Azure Synapse Analytics

  .
• Expertise in

  data modeling

  , including

  star and snowflake schemas

  ,

  partitioning

  , and

  indexing

  strategies.
• Deep knowledge of

  Azure Data Factory

  ,

  Data Lake Storage

  , and

  Azure SQL/Dedicated SQL Pools

  .
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  and performance tuning for large-scale datasets.
• Solid experience with

  Power BI

  , including

  DAX

  ,

  Power Query (M)

  , and

  embedding reports

  .
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices using

  Azure DevOps

  or

  GitHub Actions

  .
• Strong understanding of

  data security principles

  , including

  RBAC

  ,

  data masking

  , and compliance standards.
• Experience working in

  agile teams

  with continuous integration and fast-paced delivery cycles.

• Bonus
