Job Description

Job Summary:

We are hiring a motivated Associate Private Cloud Engineer to support the deployment and maintenance of OpenStack-based private cloud environments. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in cloud operations, working alongside senior engineers in a dynamic IT/telecom setting. Grow your career by building scalable, secure infrastructure from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in installing and configuring OpenStack services (e.g., Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder) under senior guidance.
Support day-to-day operations of private cloud setups on RHEL/CentOS, including basic troubleshooting and monitoring with tools like Ceilometer or Prometheus.
Perform routine tasks like patching, backups, and resource provisioning; learn automation with Ansible or simple Heat templates.
Help maintain security basics (e.g., user roles, firewall rules) and document configurations for team knowledge sharing.
Monitor system health, assist in incident response, and contribute to capacity planning for cloud resources.
Collaborate with teams on small-scale migrations and integrations, gaining exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes workloads.
