Cloud Engineer (AWS)

As an experienced Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for managing enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure with a focus on architecture, security, monitoring, deployment processes, and operational excellence at scale. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Server & Infrastructure Management:** - Deploy, manage, and maintain servers at an enterprise scale ensuring high availability and performance. - Utilize EC2, auto-scaling groups, ELBs, and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform) for efficient operations. - **Database Management:** - Administer databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB) under high load and transaction volume. - Implement performance tuning, backup strategies, replication, and failover management for data integrity. - **Deployment & Release Management:** - Lead deployment pipelines, CI/CD practices, and production release processes. - Ensure zero/low downtime deployments and maintain rollback strategies for seamless operations. - **Security & Compliance:** - Configure and manage WAF, security groups, NACLs, IAM roles, and other AWS security services. - Ensure systems comply with enterprise security standards to safeguard data and infrastructure. - **System Maintenance & Patching:** - Apply OS and application patches with minimal disruption to operations. - Implement automated patching and updates for servers and applications for streamlined maintenance. - **Monitoring & Alerting:** - Utilize monitoring services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray, and third-party tools for proactive issue detection. - Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to ensure uptime and performance of systems. - **Automation & Optimization:** - Automate routine tasks using scripts, Lambda functions, or configuration management tools. - Optimize cost and resource utilization across AWS accounts for efficient operations. **Preferred / Additional Advantages:** - AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps) is advantageous. - Experience in other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP is a plus. - Proficiency in automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible is beneficial. - Knowledge of containerized workloads (ECS/EKS) and serverless architecture is desirable. - Experience with enterprise-scale deployment strategies and version management is an added advantage.,
