Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cloud Computing and DevOps Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive and engaging content in the areas of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. This role demands both subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching and mentoring students to prepare them for successful technology careers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and deliver course modules on Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.)Conduct classroom and lab sessions with a focus on hands-on learning and industry-oriented outcomesDesign assessments, case studies, and capstone projects to evaluate and reinforce student learningProvide academic and career mentorship to students, helping them apply knowledge to real-world scenariosStay updated with industry developments, certifications, and tools to ensure course relevanceCollaborate with curriculum designers, academic coordinators, and industry mentors to enhance course delivery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years of teaching or industry experience in cloud computing and DevOpsProficiency in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)Strong conceptual and practical understanding of DevOps tools and processesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsRelevant certifications such as:AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps EngineerMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator / DevOps ExpertGoogle Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer

Preferred Skills

Experience in instructional design or online learning platformsStrong knowledge of Linux, scripting, version control systems (e.g., Git)Ability to engage students in active learning and problem-solvingFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online collaboration tools
