Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Cloud Computing & DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the cloud infrastructure for our IoT and smart home ecosystem. This role involves both backend development and DevOps responsibilities to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and microservices for the IoT cloud platform.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs for high-performance communication between devices, apps, and cloud.
  • Implement authentication flows, cloud session management, event triggers, and media control (RTSP/WebRTC).
  • Collaborate with mobile, firmware, and hardware teams for smooth product integration.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain uptime and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, serverless architecture, and microservices.
  • Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB) or equivalent GCP/Azure services.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols like MQTT and WebSocket.
  • Experience with MongoDB, SQL, or other modern databases.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • IoT or smart home automation experience.
  • Cloud-based video streaming (RTSP/WebRTC) knowledge.
  • Experience with OAuth2/SSO authentication.
  • Exposure to AI/ML integrations.
