Role Overview: You will be a part of the Door Trim team within Body Engineering, focusing on the design and development of Interior components for new or ongoing Program Development (OPD) programmes. Your main responsibility will be to lead the engineering design, technical development, and delivery of Interior components, ensuring timely launch at the Manufacturing plant while maintaining the integrity of the Cabin and vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the engineering design, technical development, and delivery of Interior components - Deliver the commodity plan to quality, cost, and time - Own and deliver the Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables - Manage Change Request, expenditure forecasting, and relevant supplier teams - Manage design verification test plans and support Engineering test teams with issue rectification - Resolve compatibility issues with A-surfaces, component packaging, and vehicle attribute teams - Utilize knowledge of product creation & delivery, change control, product definition, and change management processes - Create 2D sections and 3D geometry using Catia V5/V6/TCE/Digibuck - Utilize CATIA V5 & V6 for design purposes - Demonstrate good knowledge of Domain Knowledge, Parametric Modelling, BOM creation, GD&T, and Enovia/Teamcenter Engineering - Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization - Utilize PC Literacy tools such as Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, and Word Qualifications Required: - BE/B. Tech, ME in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering - Previous experience in resolving business, technical, and process issues within a Project Team environment - Knowledge of automotive Body Cabin systems, plastic & sheet metal materials, design rules, DFMEA, DVP, DFM, Part & assembly level tests - Experience in using CATIA V5 & V6 - Good understanding of Enovia, Teamcenter Engineering (TCE), Part release process and system - Engineering knowledge of defined component(s)/system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements - Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector,
