The CAD Engineer will be responsible for generating CATIA V6 Body Engineering CAD concepts/solutions for ongoing and new projects for seating system commodities. You will be designing various seating system components such as seat structures, mechanisms, complete seats, OB/IB valance, headrests, seat mounting brackets, etc. Your role will require extensive experience in using CATIA V5 & V6, including Generative Shape design, Part Design, Kinematics, Assembly & Drawing workbench. In this role, you will create parametric 3D proposals in Catia while maintaining editable history, defining materials, and creating components as well as assembly drawings with drawing standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting packaging studies, environment checks, kinematics simulations (if applicable), and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and functional requirements. A very good understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) is essential. You will need detailed engineering knowledge of design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that the system, sub-system, and components meet required interfaces, DVA (Design for Variability Analysis), Optical, and Perceived Quality targets. Regulatory compliance of system components will also be a key aspect of your role. As a CAD Engineer, you will be expected to follow and deliver company goals and strategies. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining the teamwork plan aligned to the vehicle program.,

You should have a working knowledge of 3DE Enovia 2018x, 2020x, and CATIA V6. Your functional knowledge should cover areas such as BOM Management, Change Management, and Engineering Design Development. Your role will require user-level experience in using 3DExperience versions R2017x or later.
