Clinical Dietitian

As a Clinical Dietitian at FutureCare Pineview, you will play a vital role in providing personalized nutrition care to residents. You will work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure that residents receive the best clinical care possible. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient's medical needs. - Assessing and identifying the nutritional status of residents using validated screening tools. - Completing timely nutrition assessments and Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments as required. - Planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring the nutrition plan of care for each resident. - Providing nutrition recommendations for patients reliant on enteral nutrition support. - Offering nutrition education to patients and families. - Utilizing current standards and evidence-based practices. - Prioritizing patient-based care and residents" rights. - Completing monthly quality assurance and process improvement audits. Qualifications required for this role include: - Current Registered Dietitian license in the state of Maryland - Bachelor's degree with a major in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field - At least 2 years of experience as a Dietitian, preferred - Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility highly desired - Knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process and ability to apply all steps of the process - A strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way - Superb organizational and time management skills - Decision making, problem solving, and collaboration skills are a plus - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills - Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members FutureCare Pineview values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.,
