Clinical Data Manager

Role Overview: As a Clinical Data Management professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of clinical data. Your responsibilities will include identifying areas for improvement, supporting communication with stakeholders, assisting Clinical Programmers, and gradually taking on more responsibilities under supervision. You will also be involved in training, mentoring, and developing direct reports, as well as managing resources and expenses for your team. Additionally, you may lead or contribute to various improvement projects. Key Responsibilities: - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data management and implement effective solutions - Support the team in communicating with stakeholders - Assist Clinical Programmers in their key responsibilities - Under supervision, gradually take on agreed tasks and responsibilities - Shadow colleagues to gain a comprehensive understanding of roles within Clinical Data Management - Develop and mentor direct reports, set challenging objectives, conduct skill assessments, performance appraisals, and provide feedback - Forecast short and long-term resource needs, implement measures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency - Manage travel, training, and other expenses for staff - Lead or provide direction on continuous improvement projects or other relevant initiatives Qualifications: - Master's and bachelor's degrees in any life science background - Familiarity with the healthcare environment and healthcare performance measurement - Knowledge of univariate and basic multivariate statistics, and the ability to interpret them - Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies - Working understanding of the research cycle and research methods Additional Details: The job type is Full-time, Permanent, suitable for Freshers.
