Role Summary:

Client Engagement Manager

In this role you will largely operate from our clients offices

Key Responsibilities:

1)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Continuous, proactive engagement with the clients Talent Acquisition teams
  • Obtain detailed Job Descriptions (JDs), ensuring clarity in role expectations, skills, and timelines.
  • Share JDs accurately and promptly with the Axiom recruitment team.

Candidate Process Management

  • Manage the end-to-end candidate lifecycle, post-submission of the CV: This includes;
    • Interview scheduling (Level 1, Level 2, and beyond).
    • Ensure candidate and interviewer availability and successful interview connections.
    • Drive timely feedback collection and share insights with recruiters for alignment.
  • Manage offer roll-outs, ensuring salary negotiations align with client budgets.
  • Oversee background checks, employment verification, and pre-joining formalities.

  • Update latest candidate status in Axioms ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Monitor process adherence using dashboards and data tools.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks or delays in interviews, feedback, offers, or onboarding.
  • Resolve client escalations, candidate concerns, and internal delays quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct rejection analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve sourcing or process flows.

  • Work with recruiting teams to ensure maximum candidate closures within stipulated timelines.
  • Drive revenue by improving offer-to-join ratios and reducing dropouts.
  • Ensure SLA adherence for each client to maintain revenue continuity.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with clients regarding candidate pipeline, process updates, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate internally with recruiters, operations, and leadership teams to align efforts with client expectations.

Required Skills:

Hard Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT recruitment processes and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of compliance processes like background checks and salary fitment.
  • Good understanding of recruitment metrics (TAT, fill rate, offer-to-join ratio).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client-centric mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • High problem-solving ability and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple client demands simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical thinking with data-backed decision-making capability.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years

    of experience in recruitment operations, client delivery, or recruitment account management.
  • Should have handled large volumes of recruitments

    (Minimum 7 joining per month)

  • Prior experience managing IT services or consulting clients is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of working in a client-facing role with hiring targets.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, BSc, BA, or equivalent).
  • An MBA or postgraduate diploma in HR/Operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
