Experience Required: Minimum 6 months (Clearing & Settlement / Trade Operations)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clearing & Settlement Associate to manage end-to-end trade operations and settlement activities across equity, ETF, and digital asset transactions. The role involves coordinating with exchanges, brokers, and custodians to ensure timely settlements, accurate reconciliations, and strict regulatory compliance.

Relevant Experience (Shortlisting Criteria)

• Minimum 6 months of experience in clearing & settlement, trade operations, or middle-office roles
• Hands-on exposure to equity settlement cycles (T+1 / T+2)
• Experience working with brokers, custodians, clearing corporations, or stock exchanges
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, settlement breaks, and exception handling
• Exposure to NSE / BSE settlement processes preferred

Key Skills Required

• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle
• Knowledge of clearing and settlement processes
• Reconciliation and break resolution skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel & MIS reporting
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and NISM guidelines
• High attention to detail and process discipline
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and support settlement of equity, ETF, and crypto trades
• Coordinate with exchanges, brokers, custodians, and internal teams
• Perform daily trade, position, and fund reconciliations
• Monitor settlement cycles and proactively resolve exceptions and breaks
• Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and NISM compliance
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records, reports, and MIS
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting
