Job Description

As an Insurance Claims Handler at Ginteja Insurance Brokers Private Limited, you will be responsible for the efficient processing of insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner. Your duties will include: - Claim intake and review: You will be tasked with receiving and reviewing initial claim notifications, gathering necessary documentation, and verifying policy coverage to ensure the validity of claims. - Investigation and assessment: Conducting thorough investigations by contacting claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information about the incident and assess the extent of damages. This will involve analyzing claim details against policy terms to determine liability and calculate the appropriate compensation amount. - Communication with stakeholders: Maintaining open communication with policyholders, claimants, adjusters, legal counsel, and other involved parties to keep them updated on claim progress and address any queries or concerns they may have. - Claim negotiation: You will be responsible for negotiating settlement amounts with claimants or their representatives, especially in complex or disputed cases, to ensure fair and satisfactory resolutions. - Fraud detection: Identifying potential fraudulent claims through data analysis and investigation techniques to prevent fraudulent activities and protect the interests of the company. - Claims documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all claim activities, including decisions, communications, and supporting documentation to ensure transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Reporting and analysis: Generating reports on claim trends, statistics, and performance metrics to inform risk management strategies and optimize claim handling processes. - Compliance management: Ensuring adherence to all relevant insurance regulations and industry best practices to maintain the integrity and reputation of the company.
