Claims Administrator

Role Overview: As a Claims Administrator at MicroSourcing, you will be responsible for analyzing and responding to the first notification of the claim, actively pursuing files through all avenues of recovery, providing timely advice to insurers and clients, identifying relevant documentation, and taking necessary steps for claims at risk of litigation. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and respond to the first notification of the claim. - Identify files to be actively pursued through all avenues of recovery. - Provide timely advice to insurers and clients regarding claim developments. - Identify and obtain relevant quantum documentation as required within the client organization. - Identify claims at risk of litigation and ensure necessary steps are taken. Qualifications Required: Non-negotiables: - Previous experience in end-to-end claims management. - Experience interpreting legislation, insurance policies, and commercial agreements. - Experience identifying potential issues within claims and escalating for review. - Demonstrated experience in file reviews. - Previous experience and working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and document management systems. Bonus Points: - Ability to remain calm under pressure. - Ability to work well within a team, communicate needs, give constructive feedback, and jump in when needed. - Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment independently when required.
