Claims Administrator

As a Claims Administrator at Assurant-India, your primary role is to effectively manage claims from intimation to closure, with the objective of achieving target SLAs and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing the assignment of a service network partner to each claim, ensuring timely communication with customers regarding the repair process, monitoring claim progression, obtaining updates from service partners, keeping customers informed of repair ETA changes, and ensuring successful claim closure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Promptly assigning each claim to an eligible service network partner, especially for products requiring repairs outside the policy holder's location. - Monitoring communication between service partners and customers for next steps and ETAs. - Tracking claim statuses closely, communicating decisions based on repair estimates, and driving the achievement of target SLAs and KPIs. - Collaborating with partners to resolve repair delays, providing guidance on submitting repair estimates, identifying partners needing training, assisting with invoice submissions, monitoring fraudulent activities, and resolving claim escalations promptly. To qualify for this position, you should have: - A graduate degree in any stream. - Minimum 5 years of experience in Service Operations. - Understanding of performance measurement tools. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Results-oriented approach. - Ability to build strong relationships. - Passion for exceptional customer service. - Preferably a background in Electronics/Home Appliance domain. Preferred experience, skills, and knowledge include: - Industry knowledge in consumer electronics/white goods. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Adaptability to new systems.
