About the Role:

As a Civil Engineer- Mining Projects, you will play a critical role in the design, execution, and management of mining-related civil works. This includes planning infrastructure, ensuring quality construction, and managing maintenance across mining sites. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and project leadership to enhance MiNSOL’s operations and infrastructure development. This is a full-time, site-connected role offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our growing mining projects.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.)/AMIE/M.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
• Relevant training or certification (6 months+) in civil or mining-related technical areas such as quality control, structural design, or testing.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of overall technical experience in civil engineering
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in mining or mining-related civil works
• Candidates who have served in Central/State Mining Departments for at least 5 years will also be considered

Specific Experience Required

• Design of structures for both open-pit and underground mines
• Planning and construction of mining-related civil infrastructure
• Experience in soil testing, materials testing, and specification review
• Project layout and design of:
• Township infrastructure
• Water distribution systems
• Effluent treatment plants
• Coal Handling and Preparation Plants (CHP)
• Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) workshops

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical designs, BOQs, layouts, and civil drawings
• Oversee execution of mining civil projects as per design and specifications
• Ensure quality control, safety, and compliance at construction sites
• Manage maintenance and inspection of civil structures
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and materials testing
• Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and progress updates
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and government agencies for timely project completion

Preferred Competencies

• In-depth understanding of civil engineering standards, codes, and mining infrastructure
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and other relevant software
• Strong project management, leadership, and team-handling skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
