Job Title: Civil Engineer – Port Infrastructure Projects

Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to manage and execute civil engineering works for our port infrastructure development. The role demands strong expertise in marine and structural works, site supervision, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering works related to port structures
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Oversee site execution of earthworks, concrete works, piling, structural steel, and marine civil components.
• Monitor progress, ensure quality control, and maintain safety protocols at the site.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical/site issues in real-time.
• Support in preparing daily/weekly progress reports, material submittals, and quality documentation.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing construction schedules and resource planning.
• Ensure accurate documentation of as-built drawings and project records.
• Liaise with government authorities and port authorities for approvals and compliance.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles related to marine/port infrastructure.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.
• Sound understanding of construction methods, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, site-based environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in port/marine/infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Understanding of coordination with MEP teams for integrated construction.
