Qualification

: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Provide advanced (L3) technical support for Citrix environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of virtual applications and desktops. This role involves handling complex escalations, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions for enterprise-level Citrix infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

Escalation Support: Act as the highest-level escalation point for Citrix-related incidents and problems. Citrix Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop farms, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Provisioning Services. Troubleshooting & RCA: Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical issues. Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune Citrix environments for optimal performance using tools like Citrix Director and EdgeSight. Patch & Upgrade Management: Plan and execute upgrades, migrations (e.g., XenApp 6.5 to 7.x), and security patches. Automation & Scripting: Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and efficiency improvements. Integration: Collaborate with VMware/Hyper-V teams for VDI and virtualization support. Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge base articles. Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and security best practices.

Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Expertise:

oCitrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) oCitrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Provisioning Services oActive Directory, DNS, DHCP Tools: Citrix Director, EdgeSight, Citrix Studio Certifications: Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) or Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) preferred; ITIL Foundation a plus. Scripting: Strong PowerShell skills for automation. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and ability to work in global teams. Behavioural Competencies : Proven experience of delivering process efficiencies and improvements Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written) Ability to build and maintain efficient working relationships with remote teams Demonstrate ability to take ownership of and accountability for relevant products and services Ability to plan, prioritize and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player Willingness to engage with and work in other technologies
